Nancy Herta, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Nancy Herta earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and then completed a residency at Ohio State University, (where she remained a fan of all Michigan Schools at great personal risk). Her special interests include infertility, pediatric/adolescent gynecology and lesbian health, and she is an advocate of natural childbirth. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Herta enjoys her Kindle, hiking, and camping, however she and her husband spend a majority of their time driving their six children around and attending their events. |
Rhonda Maney, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Rhonda Maney earned her medical degree at Michigan State University, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She provides both high and low risk obstetrical care, performs minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic hysterectomy) utilizing the daVinci robot at Sparrow Hospital, and enjoys working with menopausal and perimenopausal women on their unique issues. Dr. Maney enjoys horseback riding and loves to travel when she has the opportunity. |
Amber McLean, D.O.

Dr. Amber McLean received her degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She is board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. McLean provides both low and high-risk obstetric care and enjoys all aspects of gynecological care from pediatric to post-menopausal conditions. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, playing softball, and attending MSU football and basketball games. |
Frank Takyi, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Frank Takyi earned his medical degree at the University of Liberia in 1980. He completed a surgical residency at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia, Liberia in 1985. He immigrated to the United States in 1991 and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His practice encompasses both general and high-risk Obstetrics, General Gynecology and has special interests in Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Minimally Invasive surgery including both Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery. He is involved in training other gynecologic surgeons in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery. Dr. Takyi believes in providing compassionate medical care, one patient at a time. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Urogynecologic Society. When Dr. Takyi is not working he might be found reading, surfing the internet, or watching sports. He especially likes basketball. |
